Short answer is no, they won't be back. Soundboards may only be streamed from this site. Audience tapes may still be downloaded. See following link to the "new" grateful dead policy.

It may be premature to say that the soundboard downloads will *never* be back, as the statements from the GDP corporate front (and the bandmembers) suggested that the policy may be revised at some point. For the foreseeable future, however, I wouldn't count on the sbd downloads returning to the Live Music Archive. (I'm surely not holding my breath!)

Me either. I don't think we will see them again even though the Dick's Picks and Download series are at a stand still for the forseeable future. Robert Hunter has some comments about the GDM business debacle on his website...
